Reports To:

The Experienced Rigger will report to the Operations Manager and Technical Director.

Sound Riggers Role:

Sound Tech Malta is seeking an experienced and motivated Rigger to join our growing full-time team. The selected candidate will assist with the setup, rigging, and dismantling of professional event structures and equipment for conferences, concerts, festivals, corporate events, and live productions across Malta. Success in this role means delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality rigging installations while maintaining excellent teamwork on site. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and maintaining the company’s professional standards.

Sound Riggers Requirements:

Demonstrate previous experience in event rigging and truss installations.
Operate safely and confidently while working at heights.
Maintain a valid driving licence and demonstrate the ability to travel to event locations across Malta.
Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Communicate effectively and work professionally within a team environment.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times during setup and dismantling operations.
Handle physical tasks and heavy equipment responsibly and safely.
Show reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Sound Riggers Responsibilities and Duties:

Install and dismantle truss systems, stage structures, and rigging equipment.
Assist with loading, unloading, transportation, and organisation of event equipment.
Maintain clean, organised, and safe working environments on-site and at the warehouse.
Perform equipment inspections and report any faults or damages immediately.
Support event setup and dismantling operations according to production schedules.
Follow rigging plans and complete installations within established deadlines.
Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and team members during events.
Ensure all rigging installations meet safety standards and company procedures.

We’re seeking an Apple device specialist to join our team

Your role will involve repairing Macbooks, iMacs, iPads, and iPhones, including micro soldering and liquid damage repairs when necessary. You may also encounter basic Android device repairs.

This position demands a systematic and disciplined approach to problem-solving across various technologies. You’ll collaborate with the Frontdesk team to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.

Apple Hardware Technician Key Responsibilities:

Resolve 1st and 2nd level tickets, escalating to 3rd level when necessary for swift resolution
Perform repairs using provided parts after approval
Accurately log all reported incidents or requests
Document required hardware parts and provide precise fault descriptions

Apple Hardware Technician Preferred Skills and Experience:

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with strong attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Innovative thinking and a positive attitude
Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
Basic knowledge of data recovery
Experience with supported software platforms
Official IRP or Apple Authorised Certification

Apple Hardware Technician Requirements:

Expertise in Apple hardware repairs & products
Fluency in English
Current residence in Malta or Gozo
